Our client, located in Louisville Kentucky is a full service advertising agency whose mission is to energize our client’s business and build lasting relationships through innovative ideas that inspire, motivate, unite, brand and sell.  We are looking for someone who’s a relationship builder, someone who understands the ad agency business and the complexity of selling and delivering services at the highest level.  You will work together with a Director of Account Services and three reporting Account Executives to deliver exceptional results with a fun, highly motivated and talented team.

We are seeking an Account Manager with a strong knowledge of the quick service restaurant industry to lead one of our biggest multi-unit accounts.  In this role, the Account Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management and strategic advancement of the client relationship as well as managing and coaching of a team of Account Executives. As an Account Manager you must demonstrate the ability to take a stand and deliver the agency’s point of view and to help shape strategic and creative solutions.  You must possess talent for managing multiple projects and help to manage the team in their completion of tasks.  You will also initiate strategic opportunities and develop recommendations.

Ensure on-going client devotion by:

  • Developing and maintaining a strong client bond through honest, clear and substantive communication
  • Leading client-facing information discovery, translation of learning’s from strategic thinking to tactical recommendation, and driving results for individual campaigns
  • Ambitious in providing innovative solutions to energize your clients business
  • Managing multiple projects to ensure they are on strategy, flawlessly executed, on time and on budget
  • Monitoring client state-of-mind on each project and the agency itself to identify potential issues early and resolve them quickly
  • Reviewing all agency recommendations to confirm they meet the strategic goals before delivery to the client
  • Supervising overall budget and managing account profitability
  • Participating in financial forecasting, tracking and reporting
  • Managing Account staff in daily workflow, training and career development

Accountable for:

  • Responsible for agency deliverables and providing perspective and leadership in the development of quality solutions
  • Pro-actively identify, formulate and develop proposals for new opportunities
  • Plan and track a range of projects by collaborating with internal resources to identify and manage any deviations in timing, cost, strategic or creative direction
  • Manage projects outside the agency with photographers, illustrators, and other project specific suppliers
  • Keeps apprised of all relevant client, industry and market developments
