BBH London & Kronenbourg 1664 slow Mötorhead all the way down
It’s probably just me, but Kronenbourg 1664 is not a beer I associate with a slow, laid back pace. That’s mainly because most of my consumption of this particular brand of beer has been done in the insanity that is the Cannes Lions, where it flows more freely than water at every madhouse party.
BBH London puts the “yo” in Yeo Valley with rapping farmers
When BBH London recently launched a two minute spot for Yeo Valley Organic that features rhyme spitting farmers and pimped out tractors, the first thing I thought was “the big. bad Bessie with the M-I-L-K”, a spot from about five years ago for the Dairy Farmers of Ontario.
It’s “more than a feeling” for BBH London’s Barclaycard roller coaster
Ever since I was young, I had this dream. A modest dream, but a dream nonetheless. I always wished that if I ever became ridiculously rich, I’d build a city-sized bumper car track, with enough cars for everybody, and enough room between them to really get some speed and power to give a target whiplash.
All that’s old is new again: BBH’s “Levi’s Modern Vintage” campaign
Levi Strauss & Co. has been around since 1853, and while the brand’s popularity may rise and fall with the trends, it’s still a major US cultural icon in many areas of the world. Besides, you can’t last for more than 150 years without having that certain caché, and Levi’s has enough of that to last several more decades.
BBH taps China’s underground scene for Levi’s
What’s one of the western hemisphere’s greatest pop culture export of all time? A trusty pair of blue jeans, Levi’s specifically. What’s are some of the east’s gifts to global pop culture? Kick-ass funky art and animation, and video games.
BBH Asia Pacific’s Shanghai office has combined both sides in a regional integrated campaign for Levi’s, featuring a a pair of China’s trendsetting artists: musician Sulumi and illustrator Yan Wei.
BBH tells the tale of “The Man Who Walked Around The World”
The gang at Adfreaks brought our attention to a five and a half minute long epic by BBH London for Johnnie Walker Scotch Whisky. Entitled “The Man Who Walked Around The World”, the online movie features acclaimed Scottish actor Robert Carlyle, regaling the history of Johnnie Walker, the man and the brand.
BBH Mumbai’s first TV spot is lifting them higher
More Bartle Bogle Hegarty news today, as its brand spanking new Mumbai office has launched the agency’s very first TV spot. The 60 second ad is for Rediff.com, one of India’s top web portals, and features a rubber duck with a knack for singing like Jackie Wilson.
“He’s got a real purty mouth, ain’t he?”
In this modern-day salute to the classic film Deliverance, BBH London forgoes the banjoes and replaces them with duelling beatboxers in this TV spot for Mentos Gum.
BBH’s KFC spot not “fresh” enough for Ad Standards Authority
It’s not often that real life takes its cues from satire, but it seems like the UK’s Advertising Standards Authority was reading The Onion before passing judgement on this KFC ad by BHH London.
