One (very, very, long) last look at what CP+B has done for Burger King
As you all know by now, fast food giant Burger King and long-time agency partner Crispin Porter + Bogusky have angrily fired each other or amicably parted ways or something like that. And regardless of what you thought of that news, there’s no denying that the work CP+B did for BK over the years was pretty innovative.
So why stop now?
You’ll always find Mother London in IKEA kitchens at parties
The talented gang over at Mother London are no strangers to eschewing the 30 second TV spot in favour of longer forms of branded content. We’ve seen them do it before with Stella Artois, and here they are launching a new campaign for IKEA with a full music video.
Mother London makes Stella Artois green, retro and French once again
Late last year, the good folks at Mother London gave us a look at Stella Artois’ greener future by putting us in an artificial past, creating a fake variety show that took place in a swinging 60s France… definitely quirky stuff.
It must’ve been a success because Mother has jumped back into their DeLorean for a new piece of chic strangeness called the CO2 Soiree. You’ll see a “clip vidéo” by Marina and the Diamonds, which they somehow get to tie in with Stella’s new lightweight bottles. Yeah, it’s a stretch, but it’s a fun stretch.
(inpending) Death to Moochie: David&Goliath go branded content for Kia
Sometimes branded content is about as subtle as a nun in a Day-Glo habit working an air raid siren, and other times you barely notice it’s there at all. David&Goliath of wallet-leaving El Segundo has definitely gone the latter route in a six-part webisode series that is ever so slightly branded for the Kia Soul. Yes, the mini-SUV is featured in the series, but it doesn’t play the starring role.
TBWA\Chiat\Day LA replays lives for Gatorade glory
Today is Thanksgiving in the United States, a holiday where people gather with family and friends to look back and appreciate the blessings they’ve received in life. A time for joyous celebration and thoughtful instrospection… ah, who are we kidding? It’s a time for gorging yourself on turkey and watching football on TV all day long.
TBWAChiatDay Los Angeles are taking advantage of that love of American football with their latest Gatorade project.
