The Escape Pod gets in a bit of a pickle on a Claussen journey
Some agencies, whether they admit it or not, have what’s called a “house style”, where you can look at an ad and just know that they made it. Sometimes it’s a certain kind of look, or the spots they do are very musical, or whatever. And if Chicago based agency The Escape Pod has a “house style” it’s gotta be a flair for putting unsuspecting consumers in utterly absurd situations that I, for one, can’t stop chuckling over.
A few years back they did it with OfficeMax, and now they’re at again, this time for Claussen Pickles. Behold the adventures of Sir Edwin Horsham, explorer extraordinaire, as he takes supermarket shoppers on a perilous journey to the freshest, crispest pickles on God’s green earth.
