Camp + King, Old Navy want you dressing like some guys, not like others
For those of you who are used to having their Old Navy ads lovingly dipped in high fructose corn syrup and dusted with sunbeams and powdered sugar by the folks at Crispin, here is a new campaign that takes the brand in a less saccharine direction.
Created by Camp + King, the new San Fran shop headed by wily vets Roger Camp and Jamie King, the online videos spoof other types of men’s fashion advertising before encouraging the viewers to “dress like a guy”, not a lamb cradling fashion whore or a CrackBerrty slinging khaki cowboy.
The URL at the end redirects you to a special tab on the company’s Facebook page with fashion ideas more up the target’s alley. It’s all an interesting change of pace for Old Navy, but now I’m wondering wear I can get myself some Süpar Tool.
