Super Bowl XLV Part Two: The Good, the Bad and the Skechers
Not every spot in last night’s Super Bowl featured rap artists or wheels. The usual suspects were on the scene, with Coca-Cola dazzling, and Pepsi returning to the game only to let their consumers do the dazzling for them. Yes, there was another slew of consumer-generated content this year, with Pepsi and Doritos joining forces to have their fans get “creative”.
Monkeys and babies (both talking and now smushed) also made their usual Super Bowl appearance, but there was one old standby conspicuous in its absence… no Clydesdales this year. Not to worry, Budweiser and Bud Light still graced the screen multiple times. Unfortunately their groin-hitting sense of humour did not. Maybe they knew they could just coast this year, knowing that whatever mediocre attempts they come up with will be Grand Prix material next to a Kardashian.
