David&Goliath and Kia go epic for Super Bowl
This Sunday, one of the biggest amalgams of sport and commercialism will take place, in Dallas and on TV screens around the world. It’s estimated that a record 14 billion people will tune in to watch the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers clash in Super Bowl XLV… well okay, maybe I’m a bit off with the numbers, but trust me, the total viewership is gonna be epic.
Our LA friends at David&Goliath are also going epic in scale, with their most ambitious Kia spot to date. It’s got it all: helicopters, tractor beams, Aztec rituals, wormholes. About the only thing that’s normal in this spot is the car’s colour — traditional TV ad silver.
They’ve also got a nice behind-the-scenes video for the spot.
