Some Pretty Childish Ringtones Courtesy of AlmapBBDO and Casa do Zezinho
Keeping children from low-income families busy is a problem in most countries, but it seems to be an alarmingly pressing one in Brazil where the disparities between rich and poor can often be quite brutal.
To that effect, Sao Paulo’s AlmapBBDO has teamed up with Casa do Zezinho to come up with Ringotônicos; an effort to help provide those less fortunate kids with musical instruments. On the website, you’ll be able to download some pretty…interesting…and fun ring tones, recorded by children, with all the profits going towards buying them real instruments. So that they can make even better ring tones.
The video is in Portuguese, but you will get the idea. As they say, most good ones tend to translate pretty well.
