Big Spaceship invites you to Corpsify your Christmas
Zombie Santa.
Yeppers, now I’ve seen it all.
Actually the undead Father Christmas I received in my email is just a single creation made with Brooklyn digital winderkind Big Spaceship‘s latest project, Corpsify.com.
Corpsify is essentially a worldwide online version of that game you played as kids where somebody would draw the head of a person or creature, then fold down the paper so the next person draws the body without ever seeing the head, and so on down to the feet. Wikipedia tells me this game is called ‘Exquisite Corpse‘ (not that I ever heard that name on the playground at recess) and it was invented by Surrealist artists.
Trust me, the results you’ll find in the gallery are ceratinly surreal.
