Leo Burnett Dubai hand-draws a billboard for Chevrolet
Back when I was young kid, I used to wonder exactly when they changed the billboards in my neighbourhood and around town. One night, I’d see the same billboard I’ve been seeing for weeks, and by morning, I’d see an all new billboard. No, it wasn’t a big mystery as to what was happening, just when. Even today, even actually being in the advertising business, it’s been very rare that I’ve seen a billboard being posted.
Now this wouldn’t be the case for this outdoor poster, created by Leo Burnett Dubai for Chevrolet. This billboard was meticulously hand drawn by an artist posing as a Chevy dealer. Not sure how long it took him, but I’m sure the kid me would’ve seen him.
