Fallon London & Skoda take the ‘Cake’ and make it meaner
Remember Fallon London‘s “Cake” spot for Skoda? Sure you do, it’s the ad where they build a delicious car out of cake and confectionaries, all to the sweet strains of Julie “Maria von Trapp” Andrews singing “My Favorite Things”. It was also one of the most heavily awarded ads to come out in 2007. Ah okay, for memory lane’s sake, here it is.
Well Fallon is back at it again, but this time, instead of going for sugar and spice and everything nice, they’re opting for frogs and snails and puppy dog tails. Except that the frogs are mutated poison dart frogs, the snails are a pile of salt-dissolved goo, and the tails come from a pack of rabid Dobermans.
