Oil and water don’t mix; Happiness Brussels and charity do.

The BP oil spill seems to have disappeared from the headlines these days (although it did get the South Park treatment this week) but the situation in the Gulf of Mexico is as dire as ever, with oil, sludge and other nastiness contaminating the waters and washing up on the beaches in the region.

Belgian ad superstars Happiness Brussels is doing their part to not only keep the situation top of mind, but to also do their little bit to help. Their ever-so-appropriately named project “Oil & Water Do Not Mix” involves creating limited edition posters — designed by British graphic arts star Anthony Burrill — that were screen printed with gobs of oil scooped up from the beaches of Grand Isle, LA.
