Will W+K, Nike help LeBron “rise” above his critics?
The 2010-11 NBA season has just kicked off this evening, and after a Twitterific summer, the big question on everybody’s minds is: can the well stacked Miami Heat live up to the hype all the way to a championship, or will King James be killed in a hit and run involving 29,664 different cars when they visit Cleveland in December?
With five weeks or so to go before the Cavaliers’ Fan Infuriation Night, it looks like LeBron James is doing a little soul searching. He’s pissed off a lot of people these past few months, and now it’s time to decide how to atone… or does he even need to? Decide for yourself in this latest spot by Wieden + Kennedy Portland for Nike.
Not nearly as haunting as Tiger Woods’ introspective Nike spot, but then what LeBron did wasn’t so bad… unless you’re from Cleveland, that is.
