I’m a Don Draper girl, in a Don Draper world…
Everybody’s favorite period piece TV show about advertising won’t be back until summer, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get your Mad Men on in a very unique way. Ditch the remote-control pink Corvette and send Skipper off to do some babysitting, because Don Draper and friends have gone Barbie!
Mattel has announced a new line of limited edition premium Barbie products based on Don, Betty, Roger and Joan, to be sold at specialty stores and on the AMC website. The dolls will retail for about US$75, and will come with lots of accessories… but not miniature rocks glasses, cocktail shakers or teeny tiny packs of Lucky Strikes.
For some reason I think the Roger figure will outsell the Don one, with at least a third of them purchased by Mimi at ihaveanidea
