Award Show Bedlam! Cannes Lions, One Show, ADC News
The 57th Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival seems to have shored up all of its Jury Presidents, announcing Cyber, Design and Direct, as well as announcing the Titanium & Integrated President and Jury.
• Jeff Benjamin, VP/Interactive Executive Creative Director at upstart Crispin Porter + Bogusky will lead the Cyber jury
• Steff Geissbuhler, Partner at C&G Partners will be in charge of the Design Jury
• Pablo Alzugaray, CEO of Shackleton is running the Direct Jury
• Bob “Sex Doll” Scarpelli, Chairman & Chief Creative Officer, DDB Worldwide will be serving as the President of the Titanium and Integrated Jury, and he’s already rounded up a posse of judges to mete out hard justice in a world too cold for compassion.

Deadline for entries is coming up in three weeks on Friday February 12th, with the awards themselves taking place on May 10th, 13th and 14th.

The Art Directors Club also has deadlines that are fast approaching. They’ve staggered their deadlines a bit, and extended them a tad. Design, Interactive and Student entries are due next Friday, January 29th, with Advertising entries being due a week later on February 5th. If you were planning on entering the ADC Hybrid and ADC Sphere Awards, you have a little more time, the deadline for those categories isn’t until February 26th.
