W+K Portland gets Coke in an Olympic-sized snowball fight
The Winter Olympics are taking place in a few weeks — a fact that we in host country Canada are reminded of once every three and a half minutes of every day.
Coca-Cola is one brand that always gets into the Olympic spirit, and Wieden + Kennedy Portland has the soft drink playing a starring role in a 60 second international snowball fight at the the Athletes’ Village in Whistler, BC.
All’s well and good until we get to this guy in the spot. Really guys? Kenya? I realize you had to film this spot before all the qualifiers were done, but come on, everybody in the world knows that Ghana was the shoe-in for African qualification. Knock ‘em dead, Kwame Nkrumah-Acheampong.
