W+K Amsterdam gets behind a Dutch victory at 2010 World Cup
Today was the draw for the 2010 FIFA World Cup seeding in Cape Town, South Africa, and anticipation was high in the ihaveanidea offices. Rafik and Nat had their national teams in the mix this year (Algeria and Uruguay respectively) and Ignacio, having his Costa Rican team bounced from contention a few weeks ago, is cheering on the Dutch (he lived in Amsterdam for a time). Stephanie traces some of her roots back to Spain and will be rooting for that country to do well. And me? Well I really don’t care about soccer, and will cheer whoever happens to be winning.
But Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam is definitely getting behind Netherlands, as shown in this stunt/video for Nike done on the streets of the ‘Dam.
Good luck, Netherlands, you know I’ll be cheering for you. Unless whoever you’re playing is beating you, of course.
