Award Show Bedlam! ANDYs jury finalized, Tutssel takes Cannes
Well Elect The Jury, the ANDY Awards‘ grand experiment in crowdsourcing to select who will be on the 2010 panel of judges, is over. After a whole host of videos appeals, blog entries and tweets, tweets, tweets galore (I’m looking at you, Rob Schwartz) it appears that we have a final jury of 25.

It looks like the voters didn’t heed the words of Ty Montague in our recent interview with him, when he said there were “too many white traditional guys from North America.” This final jury is big on testosterone, low on melanin and nearly 3/4 US based, but hey, what are you gonna do? The people have spoken.
This time around, the jury will get together in New Orleans from February 21–27th (psst, hold it a week or so earlier in the middle of Mardi Gras!)

Commenting on his appointment as Film & Press Jury President, Mark Tutssel says, “I am delighted and extremely flattered to be asked to preside over the world’s biggest celebration of creativity in communications.”
