Cole & Weber, Olympians will bring out the best in you
Well Chicago didn’t fare so well on its efforts to bring the 2016 Summer Olympics back to the US, but the Olympic spirit is still alive and well in another part of the States, namely in Seattle at the agency Cole & Weber. They’ve created a highly interactive and immersive website for the International Olympic Committee called “The Best of Us Challenge“, where visitors can compete against real life Olympic superstars… only not in the events that they are famous for.
Visitors are challenged to film themselves beating the various records set by the stars, and to upload them onto the Olympic site for others to beat, with prizes including tickets to the 2010 Winter Games. You see, you probably don’t have a chance at beating Jamaican sprinter Asafa Powell in the 100m — his best time is 9.74s — but perhaps you can beat him at balancing a stick on the end of your foot — his best time at that is 2:13.
No word if the World Anti-Doping Agency will show up at your door asking you to pee into a cup after you win.
