Droga5, Puma will have you wanting the stock market to crash
It’s been about a year since the global economy went from a simple freefall to strapping on a rocket-pack for a jet fuelled race to the bottom. And while things are still in rough shape, unfortunately it appears that a comeback is on the horizon.
Yes, unfortunately.
That’s because the good folk at Droga5 in New York have teamed up with renowned athletic and lifestyle brand Puma to bring a bit of joy in these dark economic times. Introducing the Puma Index, a website and iPhone app tied directly to three of the world’s stock exchanges: the DOW in New York, the DAX in Frankfurt and the ASX in Sydney.
The site features attractive models (male and female) showing off the latest Puma fashions. The worse the stock market in each city is doing, the more clothes the models take off. If the DOW goes up a few hundred points, expect your “indicator” to put on a light jacket. If the DAX takes a nosedive, well, prepare to be titillated. The models even sleep when their particular market is closed.
Here’s a video demonstrating the whole thing:
For all our readers in ihaveanidea’s birth-city of Toronto, alas, you cannot choose the TSX. Then again, I don’t think Puma makes snow pants and lumber jackets.
