RDA Integrated, MTV Games ‘come together’ over Beatles Rock Band
Nat Salgueiro, ihaveanidea’s Chief Editor, is not in the office right now. In fact he’s been kinda scarce since the 9th of the month. You see, Nat is a huge fan of the Fab Four, and that was the day that The Beatles Rock Band came out. I don’t know if Nat’s a John, a Paul, a George or a Ringo sorta guy, but chances are he has strummed or beat on a plastic instrument at some point today.
We’re sure you’ve seen the TV spot released for the game, and probably got caught up in the surge in Beatlemania that surrounded the release of the game and the remastered catalogue. If you haven’t seen the spot yet, where the Beatles of 40 years ago cavort with fans on the Abbey Road of today, climb out from under that rock and watch it here.
The ad itself was created by New York’s RDA Integrated, with assists from MTV Games, Smoke & Mirrors CGI expertise and archival footage from Apple — the Beatles Apple, not the Steve Jobs Apple.
And now by posting this in the Inbox, Nat can get his Rock Band fix at the office for a change.
