Dare, Sony take the bull by the horns for “Twilight Football”
On September 22nd, Sony is hosting seven socc — oops, I mean football matches in seven different unusual locations around the world. Called ‘Twilight Football’, these matches will be played at dusk in places such as the Pinnacle Desert in Australia, on the canals of Venice, and in a bullfighting arena in Antequera, Spain, as shown by some rather acrobatic athletes in this online video by London agency Dare.
So just what is Sony doing by putting on this globe spanning game of footy? The whole event was created by Fallon to promote Sony’s Exmor R CMOS Sensor photography technology, which is designed to capture action shots in low-light settings…. and what could be a better example of this than night football?
