Award Show Bedlam! Eurobest, London International, Loeries news
Lots of news for three big awards shows today. First up, the 2nd Annual Eurobest Advertising Festival has announced that delegate packages are now on sale. This festival takes place at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam on November 25–27th. Eurobest has the usual seminars, awards and galas, but there’s also a cool event called Networking After Dark, which sounds like a pub crawl except that the pubs are six of Amsterdam’s top agencies: 180 Amsterdam, Bureau Pindakaas, Wieden+Kennedy, Nothing, Sid Lee and de-construct.
Eurobest delegate registration ranges from the €199 student package to the 3-day package (including the award show and after-party) at €799. To look at the packages in more detail, and to register, click here.

The London International Awards are also coming up, and they’ve announced a final entry deadline of August 17th, 2009. They’ve also announced a pretty kick-ass jury too, with jury president’s like Ogilvy’s Tham Khai Meng, Poke London’s Iain Tait and DDB London’s Jeremy Craigen. But your work won’t be judged by them if you don’t enter! Click here to remedy that.

Down in South Africa, judging for the 31st Annual Loerie Awards has wrapped up, and by the sounds of it, the juries were impressed. The Loerie Awards Festival, which represents the best advertising from Africa and the Middle East, will be held in Cape Town, South Africa from September 24–27th. You can find a list of all the finalists for these highly coveted awards right here.
