DDB Canada: Sports skills are life skills
When I was a kid, I participated in a few sports. There was the usual swimming and softball that so many youngsters get involved in, but I was also fortunate enough to test my mettle at fencing. It wasn’t nearly as exciting as I thought it would be, but as an adult, I know I should now be able to handle myself better than the average person in the event of an impromptu Zorro attack.
DDB Canada’s much lauded Vancouver office has created a campaign for KidSport, which aims shows that missing out on skills learned through playing sports as children can lead to embarrassing situations in adulthood.
