Forsman & Bodenfors: come into IKEA’s closet
We all know there are two things the Swedes kick ass at:
- interactive online advertising and branding
- affordable, chic furniture
Gothenburg based superstars Forsman & Bodenfors are back at it, once again combining their talents in the former with IKEA. This time around, they’re inviting everybody to take a moment to Come In To The Closet.
The site features five highly interactive rooms, all featuring IKEA’s PAX wardrobe line. Each room is populated by very unusual dancers whose every movements are connected to sound. Watch them dance to the selection of music on the site, or upload any song you happen to have on your computer (I just had ‘em headbanging to Burn Back’s Make the Logo Bigger) When you’re bored with that, you can turn your keyboard into a drum machine and hammer out a rhythm for the figures to get down to, or you can use your computer’s microphone to sing, clap or beatbox them to life. And if you’re bore with that… simply switch rooms and start all over again with new dancers, new songs and new fine Swedish furnishings.
Hats off to F & B for continuing to wow us on the digital front.
But we still beat you at hockey… most of the time.
