W+K gives P-Rod a “good day” for Nike
Poor Paul Rodriguez. He famous in the world of skateboarding, but alas, that’s a sport with only one household name, and it isn’t him. Heck, in most mainstream circles Paul’s father is more famous than he is.
But real skaters know exactly who he is and show him love, as does Nike, which is just releasing its third P-Rod skateboarding shoe, the Zoom Air Paul Rodriguez III. Wieden + Kennedy Portland has cooked up this feel-good 60 second spot featuring Paul having an easy, breezy day in LA… until he comes across Ice Cube.
