W+K gives P-Rod a “good day” for Nike
Poor Paul Rodriguez. He famous in the world of skateboarding, but alas, that’s a sport with only one household name, and it isn’t him. Heck, in most mainstream circles Paul’s father is more famous than he is.
But real skaters know exactly who he is and show him love, as does Nike, which is just releasing its third P-Rod skateboarding shoe, the Zoom Air Paul Rodriguez III.
Belgian duo driven to create a new font for Toyota
As a copywriter, I’m pretty content with Arial 12-point type, but we at ihaveanidea truly understand the need to go beyond. And Pierre and Damien, the Brussels-based design duo of pleaseletmedesign have certainly taken font design to the next level. With the help of some fancy software and a professionally driven new Toyota iQ, they’ve designed a new font based on… well, just watch.
Yeti meets yeti thanks to Leagas Delaney, Anonymous
This year, Eastern European auto manufacturers Škoda launched a brand new mini SUV called the Škoda Yeti. To promote the new vehicle, the company turned to Prague’s Leagas Delaney Praha and John Dolan, director for Anonymous Content (which really isn’t all that anonymous since I just gave his name)
