Jung von Matt makes giant steps with RWE
Wouldn’t it be great if all our energy needs could be taken care of by a big friendly giant, kinda like that Rock creature from The NeverEnding Story with the “big strong hands”?
Here’s a spot featuring just such a creature. It’s done by Jung von Matt in Hamburg for RWE, one of those big German energy companies that really, really, really wants to be seen as doing fantastic things for the environment. Okay, that sounds too cynical. Just enjoy the beautifully animated spot the same way we all enjoyed that “Wind” spot a couple years back for a different big German energy company.
The tagline roughly translates “It can be easy to move big things if one is a giant.” And I guess that’s true; we can do our thing by recycling plastic bags and turning off the light, but to make a genuine impact, big giants like RWE have to step in.
