zig gets some chuckles out of Just For Laughs
The Just For Laughs International Comedy Festival is in full swing here in ihaveanidea’s HQ city of Montreal. Inaugurated more than 25 years ago, Just For laughs is the world’s largest comedy festival, attracting millions of visitors and tons of top-notch talent. If they’re famous and funny, chances are they’ve been on stage here.
Just For Laughs has become so big that it has spilled over into different cities, with Toronto holding its galas over the next few days with the likes of John Cleese and Sarah Silverman.
That’s all well and good, but the folks at Toronto ad agency zig want to remind everyone that there’s a time an place for comedy.
These TV spots are joined by radio, newspaper and out-of-home pieces, as well as online banners.
(Of course, the true comedy might stem from the sheer length of the credits for this campaign)
