W+K London: the goofy products division
It’s always fascinating when ad agencies do something that has absolutely nothing to do with advertising. Wieden + Kennedy are experts at this (hell, they even like to hire from outside of the ad biz) but there’s a very cool piece from Campaign UK about W+K London’s latest endeavour: hawking kitschy novelty items to the general public.

The products, co-created with product design firm Suck UK and Worldwide Co. include a salt shaker with a pull-back motor, a musical ruler complete with playiing lessons from Dan Wieden himself, and garbage bags made to look like the bags you take goldfish home from the pet store in, as well as giant Christmas pudding bags.

The products will be sold at Urban Outfitters and Paperchase stores in the UK, but I’m sure that super keen W+K fans will get their hands on these goodies any way they can.
