Tribal DDB Amsterdam pits Philips against anything
Tribal DDB Amsterdam keeps on rolling, creating memorable work for its client Philips. Hot off its Cannes Grand Prix win for “Carousel”, Tribal DDB is connecting Philips with its audience via a Twitter project called “Philips Vs. Anything.”
The concept is simple. The agency has set up a Twitter account in order for consumers to pitch ideas for ‘Philips battles’, competitions between Philips products and, well, anything. The best ideas get converted into spots by the agency, demonstrating how Philips would fare in such a battle. And everyone goes into a draw for one of those fancy Cinema 21:9 TV sets from the “Carousel” ad.
To get the ball rolling, here’s Philips going up against a gigantic, swirling ball of hydrogen 93 million miles away.
