Burger Envy Via Skype
Over the past few years, Skype has been a fantastic and inexpensive way of keeping in touch with friends who have moved away to some far off destination. And those friends love to tell you how awesome their new city is, how hip and trendy it is, how much more fast-paced/laid-back it is (whichever is better) how the clubs are cooler, the mean and women hotter, and so on. They seem like they’ve forgotten about their original home… but deep down everybody misses something, whether they admit it or not.
South African creative shop King James taps into this emotion perfectly — and adds the ever-familiar sights and sounds of Skype for good measure — in this TV spot for Steers, the hugely popular fast food chain found only in South Africa.
