Lots of news for three big awards shows today. First up, the 2nd Annual Eurobest Advertising Festival has announced that delegate packages are now on sale. This festival takes place at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam on November 25–27th.

Sincere apologies are often difficult to muster up, as seen in this TV spot by Buenos Aires agency Del Campo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi for Cadbury Dairy Milk. As a young man opens up to his miffed girlfriend, as a Cadbury graphic displays how many squares of a Dairy Milk bar his kind words and actions are worth.

Calling all ihaveanidea fans who 1) understand German 2) love soccer 3) are into cool live advertising stunts or 4) any combination of the three!
Hamburg based agency Scholz & Volkmer has created an online campaign for adidas, where legendary German team FC Bayern’s fans — often called the team’s “twelfth man” — will control the actions and activities of a more literal twelfth man.
TBWA\Chiat\Day lights it up with Jordan for Gatorade
Gatorade may have gone all hip and cool by rebranding themselves as “G”, but when it’s time to really shine (figuratively and literally), it’s hard to top the greatest basketball player (and Gatorade pitchman) of all time.
A few weeks ago, TBWAChiatDay Los Angeles created a giant mosaic of over 14,500 inverted Gatorade bottles in just about every flavor in existence.
Wendy’s jumps to Kaplan Thaler
The band has stopped playing on yet another round of Wendy’s agency musical chairs.
According to AdAge, the fast food giant has handed over the steering wheel of the $300 million account to New York’s Kaplan Thaler, as the fast food giant struggles to find its post-Dave Thomas voice. Kaplan Thaler was up against the likes of The Martin Agency, BBH, Venables Bell & Partners and incumbent Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners.

Mother NY demonstrates the impulsive effects of TruTV
Sometimes television can be really intense, making the viewing experience a little less passive than usual. Mother New York has taken this to a new level in its campaign for TruTV, a station whose programming features real-life events so engrossing, they can apparently cause impulsive flailing and blurting out at the screen.
Spikes Asia Digital, Direct, Sales Promo Jury Announced
Spikes Asia has already released its jury list TV/Cinema, Print, Outdoor and Radio categories, and now the award show which has evolved into a three day Cannes-esque festival has announced their Digital, Direct & Sales Promotion Jury. The cool thing about it? Two of the jury members have recently been interviewed on ihaveanidea!
