Wrath of Cannes III TONIGHT!

The ihaveanidea team took a hiatus from the Cannes Lions Festival this year — you know, the economy being the way it is and all — but our friends over at Woods Witt Dealy & Sons are continuing their tradition of celebrating junior work that didn’t quite make it to the French Riviera.

Yes, The Wrath of Cannes III goes down tonight. Bring your sob stories and booze money, and catch a glimpse of who will win the illustrious Grand Coney — I guess they couldn’t change the name of the trophy even though they moved the venue from Coney Island to the East River Bar in Brooklyn.

If you’re gonna be there, give us a shout tomorrow and tell it how it was. If it’s anything like the past two years, we probably won’t hear any coherent thoughts until late, late afternoon.
