Who is eligible to apply?
Junior Copywriters and Art Directors working in advertising agencies around the world.

Is there an age limit?
Yes. You must be 30 years of age or younger.

When will the finalists be announced?
If you are selected as a Clio Future Gold finalist, the Clio Awards will notify you and your Creative Director on April 11, 2008.

What are the requirements to apply?
You must submit a portfolio of work and a signed Recommendation Form (filled out by your Creative Director). Finalists will be selected based upon the quality of work and on your Creative Director’s recommendation.

Can I submit spec work?
Yes. You may submit either agency or spec work as part of your portfolio.

What are the image requirements for submitting my work online?
We recommend you upload images as 72 DPI, RGB, 1000 pixels width in JPG format.

What are the video requirements for submitting my work online?
We highly recommend you upload videos as Quicktime .MOV files under 10MB each. WMF and Flash files may not load properly.

How much does it cost to apply?
The price per applicant is $150 USD.

Can creative teams apply together?
No. Applications must be submitted individually, as Copywriters and Art Directors are judged separately and by world region – not by the best team.

Can I submit guerilla, direct, viral, and/or interactive work?
Yes.

Do I need to currently be working in an advertising agency?
To be eligible to participate, you must have full-time employment status as a Junior Copywriter or Art Director at an ad agency. Interns, freelancers, and students are not eligible to apply

I don’t have a credit card. Can I pay with a check or cash?
No. We only accept credit card payments. Please ask your agency to provide you with a corporate credit card.
