Get your butts ready ladies and gentlemen because you are going to sit and watch 3 hours of straight TV commercials. It ain't easy, let me tell you, especially when you know that half the Clio people are outside in the pool recovering from their respective hangovers.

But hey it's all fresh work and the crowd was very eager.

The work was very good. It's safe to say it's a good sign that we are headed into better times. Asking CD's who were there what they thought, they arrived at the same conclusion.

From the Canadian shortlisted work, the ones that got the most laughs was TBWA's work for AGF, DDB's Relaxo and Taxi's Mini Threesome.

Asia has made itself felt very strongly in this year's festival. A lot of very simple amazing spots that received a lot of laughs.

From the US, there were a lot of Real American Heroes work that to be quite honest is good, but not as good as the original radio or TV they did. (Who can beat Mr. Hawaiian shirt pattern designer?)

I can't really say I know who will win the Grand Clio. It's pretty tough.
