Bake Sale Non-Fail

A huge thank you to everyone who's given four kids from the Creative Circus the chance to see Cannes from somewhere other than E!

Thank you everyone who offered to buy cookies from us, gave us advice or just passed along our flyer. Our bake sale was a huge success.

Specifically we'd like to say thank you to Kara Taylor, Mark Tutssel, John Condon and Debbie Bougdanos at Leo Burnett who footed the bill for our flights. Also, huge thanks to Ajaz Ahmed and Lars Bastholm from AKQA and MaryAnn Frerman at 22squared who came up for us big. And more thanks to our personal friends Dave Holloway at Publicis, Jannie Gerds of Matheson Gerds Advertising, Jeb Quaid with DDB, Duane Hawkins from the Creative Circus.

Thank you everyone for your illogical appetites for our ridiculously overpriced cookies!

Four Circus Students, Two Future Lions and $6000 in airfare

Winning an AKQA Future Lion is a rare occurrence. Having a school win two out of five in the entire world is a rarer occurrence. Having a school win two out of five in the entire world two years in a row is, well, a rarerer occurrence.

But that's just what happened.

We found out yesterday that we won two Lions. The problem is, the Lions are in France, and we're in Atlanta.

So, in the spirit of any classic fundraiser, we're holding a bake sale to scrounge up a few bucks.

Please pass this along to anyone that has a good soul. The Future is now. But the Future is poor.
