Turning an internship into a job

Hello!

I am a Social Media Intern at a well-known Social Media Marketing Agency in downtown Seattle. My contract will be up in a few weeks, but I really want to get hired on afterward. This is my dream job! How do I show my employer that I’m extremely dedicated to their organization? How do I get them to hire me on?

Thank you!

intro Turning an internship into a jobAsk to have a chat with the boss and ask him or her what it will take to get the full-time job. Note that being dedicated to their company isn’t the best headline. Tell them what you think you can bring to the party, why you’re an asset. Share that it would be your dream job, and why. If they can’t say yes, ask for any insights they can share on closing that gap. Any intern should get a thoughtful review at the end of their gig, and the lessons that could be learned are the best reason to do it in the first place. Good luck.
