Is my ad school a waste of money?

Hi Jancy,
So here is my dilemma, I’m currently enrolled in a graduate program for advertising at a school in Chicago that’s not necessarily renowned since the program is relatively new. While I’m not leaning towards the creative track and I can see myself on the account side, I’m still worried that this program is not the right fit. The courses are very generalized and not tailored for any specific track.
Should I look at another school such as Syracuse or VCU or should I stick it out since I’ll be completing my first year? Does it matter or am I wasting my money?

intro Is my ad school a waste of money? From the sounds of it, it may be some version of wasting your money. Do check out other programs. Don’t think of it as wasting a year in the wrong one, but an important course-correction that was more than worth the price of that tuition.
