How do you develop your creativity?

What do you think is the best way to develop one’s creativity. Thanks Jancy!

intro How do you develop your creativity?Well that’s a broad question. So here’s a broad answer. Not knowing if you’re a student or experienced already in advertising, we’ll go to the catch-all of inspiration. Hang out with creative people. See art. (Yes, go to a gallery.) Create art (write, draw, sing, dance, finger paint with your kid/little sister/some child you borrowed). Watch too many movies (rent The Royal Tennenbaums, Run Lola Run immediately), go to plays (not so many of them). Read the best trade pubs (CA till you’re blind), read lots more that has nothing to do with advertising. Debate. Lose your temper. Apologize. Study a Man Ray book. Read 100 years of Solitude. See a Chuck Close exhibit at all costs.
