Following up with CDs I’ve met

I stay in touch with all the CDs and other creatives I’ve met with and send them email updates of my portfolio as I get new work. My questions are:
How often should one send an update?
How much new work should you have each time?
Should one only send the new work each time or your complete book each time?

intro Following up with CDs Ive metAs you create new work that’s as good as the high bar you set for yourself with your previous work, send it along with a link to your whole book (yes we suggest everyone put their book online). Busy CDs will always be helped by having that easy to access reminder.

Right time, right place is as critical as the book itself. And it’s true—if you’re in the CD’s face at the moment an opening comes up, you have an advantage over other good people that aren’t top of mind anymore.
