I’ve got an amazing ad idea for Nike. How can I get it to them?

I have a great advertising idea for Nike and another manufacturer. Without a doubt – Nike, the manufacturer and myself stand to make a large amount of money. I found Nike’s advertising site which explains they are unable to accept any outside ideas. How would I get around this? I know they would use this advertisement worldwide…. I would appreciate some suggestions.

intro Ive got an amazing ad idea for Nike. How can I get it to them? You can’t get around this. Nike and just about every other major brand won’t look at work not created by their agency. The reasons are legal and designed to avoid lawsuits. Your veeeery long shot at this? Get an appointment with the creative director for Nike (U.S. agency is Weiden & Kennedy, in Canada it’s Taxi). If your idea is that fantastic, they should hire you on the spot, because if it’s better than everything they’re doing for the brand, you are a creative genius. They’ll present your work to Nike, Nike will recognize your brilliance, and you have fame and fortune to look forward to.

Sorry, unfortunately, the world is bloody complicated. And life’s not fair and all that crap.
