Any night courses to keep creative juices flowing?

Do you know of any night courses offered in Toronto that i could take for idea generation or copywriting? i’m having a lot of trouble at work = coming up with ideas and feel that a slight battle with ADD negates my ability to retain tips through literature.
So if you can suggest some workshops that’d be really helpful.

intro Any night courses to keep creative juices flowing? It sounds like you already have a job in an agency somewhere and are facing every creative person’s greatest fear – the blank page. You get all paralyzed and feel like you’re never going to crack it. We only have cold comfort – everybody goes through it, for their whole careers.

But good for you look for a way to deal with it. Bad for you that no evening programs that we know of exist. You could check with some of the local ad schools to see if they have anything like it. We know that the ICA is running an evening program starting June 3. But it seems too junior for you and doesn’t list your problem among its subjects. I believe that there are ad camps in the U.S. for people who are feeling stuck, just to get the gears grinding again. Not sure if Tom Monahan is still running such a thing. And worst of all, we can’t remember the name of his camp. Tom taught Jancy a thing or two once upon a time and she never got as stuck again. Failing that, there are lots of brain-loosening games you can buy/play. And there are many books like A Whack on the Side of the Head that deal with exactly what you’re talking about. If we were you and could afford it, we’d go for the Monahan option. We guarantee* you’d come back a truly new ad guy.

*This-guarantee-is-not-a-money-back-if-you-don’t-like-it-sort-of- guarantee-does-not-mean-that-we-would-pay-for-your-attendance-at-the- aforementioned-ad-camp-nor-that-you-will-actually-come-back-a- different-person.
