How do I pitch ideas to potential clients?

Hello Ladies… Thank you for being such dedicated mothers to the industry!
Here’s my situation: Being in advertising, I have 2 solid branding ideas that can make explosive revenue for two different potential clients (new to the market).
How do I go about attempting to win their business, under my belt?

intro How do I pitch ideas to potential clients? We’ve seen many creatives approach potential clients with tight comps of their ideas. Often the goal is simply to get the ads produced; a great deal is offered and the clients often go for it. In your case, you actually want to make money. You’d think it would all be simple: great idea makes money for client makes money for you. Buy it’s a lot more complicated than that. Do these clients already have ad agencies? If so they will probably direct you to their agency. Do you know anyone working for their company? Having an ‘in’ like that can be a huge help. Somehow you’d need to meet a decision maker, and present a clear proposal of what you want to do for them, including how you’d propose being compensated. And then, well, God help you.
