The hardest thing to learn for ADs and CWs

A question to the art director…what was the hardest thing to learn in art direction, and the same question to the copywriter, what was the hardest thing to learn as a copywriter?

intro The hardest thing to learn for ADs and CWsHere’s the art director’s answer. Nailing the typeface is a hellish nightmare. Then setting it properly after you’ve been through 2,000 fonts is a hellish nightmare. I will find it a struggle forever. I’ve come to accept that. The larger and first challenge will always be the blank page (that goes with my blank brain) at the start of every project. Nothing scarier. Learning to jump in fearlessly…well, I’m still learning that.
