Ignacio Oreamuno and Brett McKenzie, IHAVEANIDEA’s O.G.s and now ADC leaders, took off this week for bratwursts and steins, and some digital marketing magic at the dmexco Digital Marketing Exposition and Conference in Cologne, Germany.

As part of the conference, NYC-based duo Riot !n Paris teamed up with dmexco to write a personal song about one lucky attendee of the festival, based solely on the attendee’s social media profiles.

As luck would have it, the profile chosen was one you might recognize: @IHAVEANIDEA. Indeed, the man behind the plan himself, Ignacio Oreamuno.

Riot !n Paris performed the song today to a rocking crowd during one of the dmexco UBERCLOUD sessions, and the band will also perform later tonight at the official dmexco Party. The song and chorus are catchy enough that the crowd caught on and brought up the energy levels, singing along “Hola!” at the tops of their lungs. All for our very own.

“Hola, un, deux, trois…” rhymes the chorus, based on the fact that Ignacio’s LinkedIn profile reports that he speaks both French and Spanish. The song covers everything from photos from his active Twitter feed to fun facts from Ignacio’s LinkedIn profile and a glimpse at his Google+ (ahem, dormant Google+) profile.

Newly based in New York, IHAVEANIDEA and Riot !n Paris are now neighbors, unbeknownst to either party. Riot !n Paris describes themselves as “a transcending, genre-bending gang of rock/rap kids” comprising two life-long Brooklyn residents, Mercy and Pete. They pride themselves on their clash of genres and have exploded on the underground New York City scene as regulars at late-night spots like the Bowery Ballroom, Sputnik, Crash Mansion, Arlene’s grocery and Don Hill’s.

They list Cold War Kids, My Chemical Romance, Jay-Z, Nas, Wu Tang, Incubus, OutKast and Avenge Sevenfold among their influences. Perhaps now we can add “IHAVEANIDEA” to that list.

We’re only surprised that Brett McKenzie was able to hold himself back from jumping on stage and hyping the crowd. And we hope to catch up with Riot !n Paris again in New York soon.
