  1. IHAVEANIDEA’s users have said that they actually don’t mind clicking on banners featured on our site, as long as they feel the offer is relevant. So make it so! Get in their shoes and think hard about what is the one thing that would make them click on your offer or service. Read about who our users are.   2. Creatives love beautiful design. Invest in a nice banner campaign and it will pay back. If you skimp on the design, it will end up costing you in the long run. If you need help finding someone to design a nice campaign for you, let us know and we’ll connect you with some talented and cost effective people.
  3. You will not be able to communicate all of your selling points in one banner. There’s just not enough space. Focus on one thing and one thing only. Do you really need your tagline AND your logo AND a headline? Less is better, trust us.
  4. Animations can be distracting and often scream “hey I’m a banner!” If it doesn’t truly add to the message, try to refrain from Flash-heavy executions.
  5. Integrate into the IHAVEANIDEA design. If you go the extra mile to create a banner campaign that would look good on IHAVEANIDEA’s palette of colors, it will merge better into the content and increase its effectiveness.

  7. Give careful consideration to the weight of your campaign. Advertising too heavily, with little or no variation in the campaign, might turn off readers. On the other hand, advertising too sparingly might not achieve your desired results.
